Picking and chosing which laws to abide.

Interesting reading:
I found this on the associations website on how to file a complaint.
Notice that they use 33-1803...which is in the chapter labeled "Planned Communities".
But they are not a planned community so 33-1816 doesn't apply to them???
I wish I could just pick and chose which laws apply to me.

"Per Arizona Law (A.R.S. 33-1242 and A.R.S. 33-1803) any complaint ledged with the Association will NOT remain anonymous. There person complaining of the alleged violation must state their first and last name and, if requested by the alleged violator, this information will be sent to the party who is accused of the violation."

Snippy Neighbors

It was so nice when my board member neighbors just looked down their noses at me.  Now they are documenting anything "actionable" against me.  Even though one board member owns greater than the "allowable" number of pets and has passive solar devices on her roof.  I wonder if the rest of the board reviewed that installation.


So the city now tells me that they will permit the installation despite no approval from the HOA, however...now the new rules require a state registrant structural engineers seal.  This all should have been completed 4 months ago.
